Elements of RWA's Writing Library
Members of Elements have shared with us the resources that have helped them grow as writers. Here you will find the craft guides many have on their desks, the novels that have inspired them, and the Industry guides that keep them up to date. We also have a page dedicated to various links to websites and blogs from industry leaders, publishers, instructors, agents, editors, and especially authors. Here, you can lean from those in the business of writing and publishing books.

Spotlight on Writing
It's easy to have a list of books and links we depend on for our daily writing. It's another to have first hand testimony from those who have used, gained insight, and grown as writers. The best tool in a writer's arsenal is the willingness to learn from others.
No writer has ever truly mastered the craft. They are humble enough to admit they work everyday at it, learning something new and revisiting something old.

Steve King, On Writing
It's a memoir, a craft book, and an inspiration. Most writers, of all genres, swear by this as the bible of all craft books. Written, by none other than one of the publishing world's most popular authors. What I love most about this book is not just the craft lessons but the human ones. He maybe a bestselling author but he's one of us, too. That means more to me than a craft book written by someone who's never been on the list, edited one, or represented one.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. ~Charli Mac
