Elements is an online chapter of Romance Writers of America composed of a talented group of published and unpublished writers with a special interest in non-traditional romance fiction, as well as those who incorporate romantic elements into other genres. We embrace the fact that the romance genre is as strong and relevant to readers' lives today as it was when first breaking into the publishing world, and we also acknowledge that the romance genre and the rules of romance continue to evolve and change.

Our mission is to offer support and career focus to published and unpublished writers of nontraditional romance fiction. We embrace the romance genre as strong and relevant to readers' lives, and provide an informal yet professional on-line environment where writers of all levels are encouraged to grow and evolve within that genre and the publishing industry.
Elements of RWA offers a career-focused support system including:
- online workshops for education;
- a dedicated discussion loop for encouragement, networking, and support;
- critique groups for inspiration and feedback;
- and a blog containing market news, author announcements, resources and articles written by our members.
